Contributions towards Journey of Handloom Day are voluntary donations to a charitable trust, not payments for goods or services. Once a contribution is made and the funds are applied to the campaign, it is generally not refundable.

We will refund a contribution in full where:

• the same contribution was charged more than once in error;
• an incorrect amount was charged because of a technical fault on our side or our payment partner's;
• the payment was made without the account holder's authorisation; or
• you contributed by mistake and tell us within 7 days of the payment.

Email weaveindiatrust@gmail.com or call +91 7382557788 with the mobile number you contributed with and the payment reference number shown on your certificate. We acknowledge every request within 2 working days.

Once approved, we initiate the refund immediately. The amount is credited back to the original payment method — the same card, bank account or UPI account used to pay — within 5–7 working days of initiation. The exact timing after that depends on your bank.

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different account, and we do not make refunds in cash.

A Certificate of Appreciation acknowledges a contribution that stands. If a contribution is refunded, the certificate issued for it is no longer valid.

You can close the payment window at any point before confirming payment. Nothing is charged and no record is created.
